Confirmation That I Really Am A Fruit Loop

Since our college days, my spunky friend Stephenie has lovingly referred to me as the Fruit Loop in a bowl of Cheerios.  Truthfully, I have always felt like a fruit loop.   In reality I can say this was confirmed on November 6th of this year.  It was a whirlwind of a day.  Jason and I celebrated 14 years of marriage and it was the day I was informed of my actual fruit loopness.  I finally had the answer to medical issues I had struggles with for years. I was told that I had Lupus.  This diagnosis has thrown me for a loop.  I have spent countless hours researching and reading everything I can get my hands on about this cruel mystery. Although there is no cure, there are medicines to help maintain a quality of life and help to live a normal life span.  My prayer is that I will not let Lupus define me.   I want my four boys to see me as a woman after God's heart who is fun and energetic.  I am so thankful that God loves Cheerios and Fruit Loops.
